KöR Teeth Whitening

Our society values bright, white smiles because they project the image of health and beauty.

Your smile is part of the first impression you make with everyone you meet. Whether you are a busy professional or have an active social life, making a good first impression can be a real asset.

One of the biggest concerns our patients reveal is that their smiles are not as white as they used to be. Teeth darken as a natural part of aging because of exposure to foods, beverages, and lifestyle habits such as tobacco use.

If you have tried any of the over-the-counter products available, you have probably noticed that the results are not as dramatic as you might like. Teeth whitening is most successful when performed under the supervision of a dentist. Your dentist can monitor your progress and help you achieve the very best results.

At Family & Implant Dental, we proudly offer KöR Whitening to brighten your smile and bleach away the stains that darken your smile.

Why Choose KöR Teeth Whitening

KöR Whitening uses an innovative method of teeth whitening to give you the best results. It is a low-sensitivity professional strength whitening gel combined with whitening trays that actually lock in your gel and lock out saliva, which can deactivate the peroxide that whitens your teeth.

The whitening trays we make actually create a small lip around your teeth. This reduces sensitivity by keeping the gel in place and helping it to stay active for longer as you wear them. We create these whitening trays by taking impressions in our office and then creating molds of your teeth. These plaster molds will allow us to create whitening trays that actually work and can be used again and again for a lifelong white smile.

KöR Whitening systems are shipped in cold packs to help the gel remain at its most active state. When left unrefrigerated, it can actually lose potency. This is why it is available only through participating dentists.

Reduced Sensitivity and Improved Results

Our KöR Whitening gel has active ingredients that reduce sensitivity on contact. This makes it possible for patients with gum recession and sensitive teeth to achieve a whiter smile. When combined with the sensitivity reducing trays, you can have comfortable and dramatic results.

Frequently Asked Questions

Having your teeth whitened can give you added confidence when it comes to your smile. Everyone loves a bright, white smile!

If you have invested the time and effort it takes to achieve a whiter smile, you are probably wondering how long it will last.

Your white smile depends on your commitment to keep it that way! If you avoid a few things in your day-to-day life, you can maintain your white smile longer! These include:

  • Tobacco
  • Coffee
  • Red wine
  • Tea
  • Soda

If you have whitened your teeth and start to notice that they are not as bright as they used to be, we can provide whitening gel refills to touch up your smile. In a few days to a couple of weeks of touching up your teeth with your home teeth whitening kit, you can see dramatic improvements.

Remember that the best time to whiten your teeth is right after a dental cleaning. By removing surface stains during a cleaning, your whitening gel can do a better job by coming into contact directly with your clean teeth. A dental cleaning may even polish light stains away.

Even if you have whitened your teeth in the past, you can achieve that brightness once again. Give us a call!

What You Can Expect During Treatment

Once we create your whitening trays, we will go over home whitening with you including how long and how often to wear your whitening trays. Because you can keep your trays for future use and obtain more gel from our office, you can enjoy a white smile for a lifetime!

How often you touch up your teeth depends on your individual needs. Tobacco, coffee, and red wine will all contribute to stains on your teeth. Brushing your teeth and having regular dental cleaning appointments will help maintain your bright smile.
